Polyester 1000D is a type of fabric made of polyester where the 1000D indicates the thickness of the thread used in its production. This material is much thicker than fabrics with lower D ratings and is characterized by high strength and durability. Polyester 450D is a material with good durability often used in the production of outdoor and technical clothing where durability is important but very thick material is not required. In Hiker IV pants it has been used in areas that are less exposed to damage during accidents ensuring comfort and freedom of movement.
